Sweetshop Revolution’s poignant yet powerful new dance-theatre production Your Heart is too Loud is about love, loss, memory and resolution. This soul-searching and highly physical ensemble performance wonders what it means to live fully in the moment, and asks what we might change if given just months, weeks or days to live. It is a tender, honest and sometimes humorous exploration of our search for joy and the longing to connect — looking at the end of things but also the brink of new beginnings. An international cast of four dancers including Jessica Van de Koot, Reece Marshall, Nicole Nevitt, Jovana Zelenovic bring this work to the stage, under the direction of Sally Marie with design by
Minnie Sandbach.
Sweetshop Revolution makes dance theatre that is questioning, alive and entertaining and can be enjoyed on multiple levels. It was nominated as Best Independent Company by National Dance Awards in 2016 and their previous production was nominated as Best Dance Production by The Welsh Dance Awards.
