Choreographer assassination

Has anyone ever assassinated a choreographer? Because if I make even one more single little change, I think I may be the first. The men may commit murder in their utter desperation at the volume of changes. And heaven help me to resist another. Because tonight I have been watching old footage. Chris’s foot is healing, the cast is off and I am dying to put him back on two legs. He has three solos in the piece, all monopod in style. And now he is back on the two legs I am wondering if we might add something in… ho hum.

I said to them this week about the changes ‘try and think of the terror as exciting!’

With blank faces, they looked back at me. Their silence spoke like a bat in a bad mood. And I carried on with the changes like a happy psycho. For two hours. Before they broke. For a break before the show.

We sold out our first run. Which might sound more impressive if we were at the Albert Hall and not BAC, yet still, it was nice…

Yes indeed, the show is up and running even though the dancers may also be if I risk any more of the above…
